HOW DO ANTI-WRINKLES INJECTIONS WORK?
When we want to move a muscle, the brain sends a message to the muscle through our nerves to cause muscle contraction. At the synapse where the nerve meets our muscles, the nerve releases specific chemicals to signal the muscle to contract. A relaxant injection stops this chemical reaction to occur, hence the muscle can not contract even though the brain the sends messages to contract muscle.
If you start regular treatments with anti-wrinkle treatment injections before permanent lines set in, then you will delay and possibly prevent wrinkles from appearing, helping to maintain a youthful appearance for longer.

AM I THE RIGHT CANDIDATE FOR ANTI-WRINKLES INJECTIONS?
Anti-wrinkle treatment injections are not to be used on women who are pregnant or lactating.
Individuals with good general health prior to receiving treatments are the right candidates.
WHAT ARE POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS?
Complications although are rare, may include partial eyelid droop, eyebrow droop or asymmetry. These may last up to 3 weeks, after which time it will resolve itself.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Most people can come back to normal activities immediately after treatment.

Pin point bleeding, and bruising may occur as a result of any injection.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

ADVICE POST TREATMENT
It is advisable to move the muscle in the treated area for five to ten minutes after the injections have been administered, and you must remain upright for at least four hours. It is also important that you refrain from touching or rubbing the treated area as this could spread the anti-wrinkle treatment into unwanted areas.
